Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is a super common skin condition that causes tiny, rough bumps — usually on your arms, thighs, or booty.

It’s often called “chicken skin” or “strawberry legs,” and it can be annoying, itchy, and honestly? Make you want to cover up.

KP happens when keratin (a protein your skin naturally makes) builds up and clogs your hair follicles — trapping dead skin and causing texture. It can also lead to redness, dark marks or scarring (PIH - post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) after picking or irritation.

It’s harmless, but it can be stubborn and frustrating!
